Saxmundham's Peru Project The letter below, sent in English and Spanish, by the Saxmundham and District Rotary Club, was for use in the newsletter of the Rotary Club of San Borja in Peru to celebrate their 25th Anniversary in June 2000. |
| The members of the Saxmundham Club value our special relationship with the Rotarians
of the San Borja and send you our warmest greetings and congratulations on your 25th
anniversary. Without your help and commitment it would not have been possible to achieve such a successful installation of the new Carpentry Workshop at the Ciudad de los Ninos. On 3rd April 2000, we jointly submitted a new Matching Grant application for the new bakery at this great project. We are confident it will be approved later this year. We know the Rotary Foundation at Evanston is well aware that when the San Borja Rotary Club are involved with a projects administration it will be handled in a most professional way. The personal friendships that have developed between our two Clubs link us even closer. Archie and Peter regard you all as great friends and take this opportunity to send their special greetings on this very happy occasion. We all wish the San Borja Rotary Club good health and continued success over the coming years. Good friends, until our next Pisco Sour together! Peter Woodruff and Archie Poulter |
